Katherine Miller

Katherine (Kate) Miller is from Denver, Colorado. She began her training with the Colorado Ballet Academy at age 7, and continued to train there under Erica Fischbach for 11 years. Kate then attended Butler University’s Jordan College of the Arts, to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Pedagogy. With Butler Ballet, Katherine had the opportunity to perform numerous pieces of classical repertoire, staged and coached by Rosanna Ruffo, including the role of Gamzatti in the Pas D’Action from La Bayadere. She also performed in several new contemporary works by David Ingram, including the principal role in Kato. At Butler, she took both Classical Ballet and Jazz teaching analysis and became qualified to teach both Ballet and Jazz techniques. She also created several new choreographic works. Kate is thrilled to be sharing her passion for dance with the next generation of dancers!
